Condolence From: Janna Beekman Forst
Condolence: My heart goes out to Betty,her sons and the grandchildren and all that will miss Chuck. I will always remember Chuck as a vigorous, outgoing man who was a friend to everyone he met. Chuck could always make (all of us) but especially, my Dad laugh. He was the guy that helped make the lake cottage possible; always there helping my Dad with the construction.
The rest of us might think we know how to make home made ice cream, but Chuck was the master. He knew just how long to turn that crank :) I heard he could roast a pretty good ear of corn at the fair also.
As a kid, I loved being around the Hussongs, Chuck (and Betty) always brought laughter and good times. Their love for each other was strong and everlasting; this was especially evident these last few years. Thanks for the memories, Chuck!
